THEY APPROUVE TEMPESTA

Tempesta in use at GSF

GSF Cleaning & Services

Since 07/2024

The GSF group has integrated Tempesta into its industrial cleaning operations at high thermal constraint sites such as:

  • The Bugey Nuclear Power Plant (CNPE – EDF)
  • The Tereos factory in Connantre (agri-food)
  • The O-I glass factory in Béziers
  • The O-I glass factory in Wingles

At these sites, GSF operators use Tempesta during confined space interventions, on rooftops, or near furnaces. Feedback highlights a significant reduction in hardship, immediate thermal comfort, and better recovery after exertion.

Compatibility with PPE, ease of use, and robustness of the device under intensive conditions have all been confirmed. These features make Tempesta a real driver of performance and quality of work life for field teams.

ArcelorMittal

Since 02/2025

As a global leader in the steel industry, ArcelorMittal was one of the first major industrial groups to deploy the Tempesta vest in the field.

The initial deployments took place at the Fos-sur-Mer site, a particularly demanding environment characterized by intense radiant heat, heavy protective gear, and high operational constraints.

Operators praised the thermal comfort provided and the stabilizing effect of the system during long shifts.

This structured use case validated the robustness of our solution under extreme conditions and initiated discussions around wider integration across the group’s industrial sites.

Municipal Police – Mandelieu-La Napoule

Since 06/2024

During a public event organized by the City of Mandelieu, two Municipal Police officers tested the Tempesta vest under intense summer conditions.

The feedback was positive: users reported an immediate cooling sensation, decent autonomy (~4h), and a direct impact on heat management during outdoor duties.

This experience confirmed the relevance of such a device for public safety missions in extreme heat.

When you choose Tempesta, you choose better working conditions and more efficient workers!

In many industrial environments, workers are exposed to extreme temperatures, whether in steel mills, nuclear power plants, glassworks or other industries. The Tempesta system from Tethys offers a revolutionary solution to ensure their thermal comfort and improve their working conditions.

Whether in metallurgy, power generation, glassworks or any other sector where working environments are very hot, choosing Tempesta means choosing improved working conditions and more efficient teams. Thanks to technology developed in the space and nuclear sectors, Tempesta represents a significant advance in worker well-being and safety.

Adopt Tempesta and transform your working environment into a space where comfort and efficiency go hand in hand.

Sector Critical Tasks Thermal Risks Tempesta’s Benefits
Construction Concrete formwork in summer Heat, fatigue, accidents +15% efficiency, -20% incidents
Metallurgy Foundry work Thermal radiation Fewer breaks, improved focus
Urban Logistics Summer delivery rounds Cab heat, fatigue Enhanced comfort & alertness
Postal / Delivery Walking / cycling deliveries Prolonged effort in heat Less fatigue, better recovery

Short circuit

As part of our eco-responsible approach, Tempesta favors local and national suppliers to reduce the overall carbon footprint of our system.

Social inclusion

In 2026, Tethys plans to hire staff with disabilities. With Esatitude, it hopes to employ staff for a period of 6 to 9 months, during which they will have the opportunity to gain experience and skills.

What is the temperature range at which the system operates?2025-08-22T16:29:22+00:00

The system operates between -20°C and 60°C, providing a temperature difference of up to 40°C compared to the ambient temperature.
This is enough to cool you down or, conversely, warm you up.

What are the advantages of Tempesta for workers in extreme environments?2025-08-22T16:09:24+00:00

The advantages are numerous and significant.

Workers will no longer suffer from heat or cold, which will lead to a significant increase in their productivity and overall performance.

Take, for example, a royal guard in the United Kingdom who faints on duty due to fatigue and heat.

Thanks to Tempesta, this kind of situation will no longer exist, and workers, even when struggling in the sun, will be able to continue their work efficiently.

Think of construction workers, waiters, police officers, and firefighters; soon, they will be able to do their jobs in the harsh summer heat in a more comfortable way.

Is Tempesta visible or cumbersome when worn?2025-08-22T16:07:59+00:00

Tempesta can be integrated into a variety of clothing in the construction, military, and sports sectors, among others.

The system as a whole is 24 cm long and 32 cm high, with a maximum thickness of 4 cm.

As such, it can be easily integrated into safety vests, bulletproof vests, and diving suits without being visible from the outside.

However, in basketball or soccer jerseys, the system does not have enough space to perform at its full potential.

How much does Tempesta cost and what are the purchase options?2025-08-22T16:06:05+00:00

Tempesta offers three purchase options.

We offer the system on a monthly or annual rental basis, or as a one-time purchase.

The price is discounted based on volume and length of commitment.

Is Tempesta certified?2025-08-22T16:02:49+00:00

ATEX certification is currently under evaluation.

If your company requires ATEX compliance for the use of the Tempesta system, please let us know via the Contact page. Your feedback will enable us to adjust our approach and prioritize certifications according to the regulated environments identified.

Together, let’s contribute to a targeted validation process that is useful for your operational needs.

Is there technical support or a warranty for Tempesta?2025-08-22T16:00:42+00:00

Tempesta offers technical support and a warranty.

For example, in the event of a breakdown, we will collect the product in order to investigate the incident and understand the source of any problems so that we can fix them; another device will be provided free of charge at the same time to ensure continuity of service.

The warranty, which is valid for the duration of the contract, covers the free replacement of the device in the event of a malfunction.
